DOUGLASS, Chester L. - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Chester L. Douglass, 87, Route 1, Veedersburg, died at 12:30 p. m. Thursday, July 31, at Meadow Heights Nursing Center, Williamsport, where he was a resident. He was born Oct. 25, 1898, in Millcreek Township in Fountain County, the son of S. Edward and Lydia Jane Hepler Douglass. He was a member of Prairie Creek Baptist Church. He was a general farmer. Graveside services were held at 11 a. m. Saturday at Campbell's Cemetery, southwest of Veedersburg with the Rev. Glenn Ray Sr. officiating. Parham Funeral Home, Veedersburg, was in charge of arrangements.
